I was always the bloke with 2 drinks in his hand sitting in the corner and nodding my melon to the beat.

Sounds weird but it always worked for me in the lady department. I think it was a case of by the end of the night I was the only bloke in the joint who hadn't tried to grope them on the dancefloor so they could look past the fact that I've got a head like a half sucked mango!
