HH/RWB, just fyi (in case you're unaware) there's a station on digital radio called - FUN (supafundigi) which plays 60s, 70s & 80s. I'm glued to it all day at work for the great variety. Most of the classics posted on here are played frequently. A far better option on the way to work than listening to dribble

My niece was in a musical in Melbourne with that singer. Nice lady and I got to meet her backstage. I still have the programme in my cupboard. Red Symons was in it as well and I also met him.

Thanks for the tip but ever since the Nate Myles incident of 2009, I've barely switched on a radio! I can't stand bogan chatter so I'm addicted to my ipod. I have nearly 8,000 songs on it now and Horrie Hastings is spoiling me by doing a tremendous collection for me on a USB stick.

Thanks for that Gman, did not know about the station. I really like the period of music from 1975-1984 especially but have a real soft spot for the early 70's too and the mid to late 60's especially the Australian content for the mid to late 60s

I have that from a CD called Retro Rarities.

I've just set the timer for Rage next week as it's a retro special from the ABC archives. They are going to do this for the whole month and there is footage from Countdown, Hitscene, GTK and my favourite Rock Arena.

Yes I recorded last night from 12.17 to 5am, watched about the first 15 mins before I went to bed, Hall and Oates were on.
