I remember when John Brogden made a prick of himself in 2005 after he called Bob Carr's wife a mail order bride. He got drunk, scratched his wrist with a butter knife (that's from an Ambo who was called out) and was taken with great fanfare to Royal North Shore. And now he's the patron of Lifeline.

I suspect, unless stated otherwise, Ms Dawson has done much the same thing.

This is why I'm not on Facebook or Twitter.

idiot? I honestly don't know but I think she's an idiot for letting those would be, keyboard, cyberspace heroes/heroines get to her.

But that's just me. I don't get this whole twitter/facebook drivel. I may be old school, but for mine I think the long lost art of conversation is dying a slow death. I can't remember the last time I was socialising and not 5 minutes would pass when somebody had to go outside to either respond to a text message or phone call.

As Homer would put it so succintly "ooh look at me - I'm Mr. Popular with my many friends who can't speak but can punch letters and numbers on to a tablet".

Twitter is the best source of news on the planet.

I haven't bought a newspaper since I got a login. I don't follow celebrities or individuals generally. Just follow the publications or outlets I like and get headlines and articles 24 hours a day before they appear anywhere else.
