Seems to be a bit of music discussion on here so thought about songs that are not the original but are either better or vastly different to the original that it is worthy of a view. I think the cover needs to be done by someone that is in the industry rather than a youtube hero but those are welcomed if you think they are worthy. Post away....

It grinds my gears that Birdy's cover of 'Skinny Love' has gained more popularity than Bon Iver's original. That is a perfect example of original being the best.

Cant split Air Supply or Bonnie Tylers version, tell you the truth i cannot remember who sung it originally.
If anything i like Air Supply's just slightly more but both are fantastic versions.

I was playing Air Supply's version just the other day. Jim Steinman wrote it like most of those other overblown ballads I was a big fan of in the 80's. I started revisiting them all a couple of years ago. Air Supply released it in 1990 and Bonnie in 1995.
