Know of a top feed in sydney from a killa hot dog a good kebab or fine dinning?

I have been to a place called Tingha (asian food) at the Tigers leagues club at homebush opposite the markets. They do mud crab cooked in chilli sauce, XO, Ginger, salt and pepper and many other ways for only $17.60 per kilo, top value for money and a good feed. I dont know how they do it at that price.

Fine dinning Bel Mondo at the rocks does a 2 course $55 or 3 course a la carte for $72 good value, good food beautiful setting (if u need to get in the good books with the misssus).

Geeros/Kerbab Has to be brothers princess hwy, for the single ppl they have a good set up with a Hideaway next door and a pub across the road lol.

Night out with the boys when you just want to fill up big time, you cant go past Big Johns Pizza at Sans Souci, they do a seafood plater for 4 its about $150 tried to polish it with 6 ppl and never got close on 3 occasions.

Charing Cross Pizza, 268 Bronte Road Waverley. Great pizza especially after a game and a few back at Easts, sometimes you will even see Kingbilly there.

Hoh Won Chinese Restaurant, 134 Anzac Pde Kensington. Great Chinese meal outside China Town, BYO there's a bottles Shop just down the road where a good Rooster man works, wear your colours.

Upper Crust, 1003 Pittwater Rd Collaroy. Pies that are unbelievable, the lines on the weekend used to be huge, always a good sign.

En Casa Spanish Resturant, 423 Pitt St Sydney. Tapas just to die for. Great atmosphere and the service is brilliant, really make you feel welcome. The Albondigas alone is worth the visit.

Ole Charcoal Chicken, 142 Anzac Pde Kensington. The closest to the original Oportos at Nth Bondi, before that went franchised and prices went up and quality went down. The chilli is still oil, the way it should be, painted on. Chips with chilli in the foil chicken bag, I love it. I still get a take away chilli tub whenever I go down and bring it home and fight the wife for it.

I'm hungry now, remembering my old haunts.

          You only live once Lickey.

Smile, enjoy some good food and alcohol, some rays, Some great friends and family and some sweet sweet perfume as it strolls on by.

What would you prefer a rivita with low fat cottage cheese and canned fruit made in downtown Honkers, imported and hemogonised, while you jog at Centennial park with your cliched abs and iPod playing LadyBoy Gaga hits and memories???

          Live man, live.

Remember what Lennon said, life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans, you beautiful boy you.

Lol all good mate, I still love you.

Bang down a few HongKongs and get to one of those eateries I mentioned and tell me what you think, I do care.

BTW I would've got to know you better if you didn't stand me up last time I was down. I even ended up at Charos Pizza that night with KB, you missed out duuuuuuuuude.

Best Chinese food outside China Town IMO mate.

I lived around the corner for years and can't remember a single night that place wasn't packed.

Very well priced and great flavors.

I could never work out how people wrapped The Rusty Shovel so heavily, just around the corner in the Rissole there. OK but not a patch on Hoh Won.

Last time I was down the old man had retired and the son had taken over and thankfully nothing I could taste had changed one little bit.

We may have to meet up there one day Red. I know Kingbilly has tried it also and was equally impressed. We could all walk down before or after a game, could be a good .

Dumpling King on King st Newtown, great homemade dumplings, i eat there at least once a week, service can be a bit hit and miss but that is half the charm of the place.

Rowers Retreat at UTS Haberfield club, right on the water at Iron Cove, this place is my favourite to take visitors from out of Sydney, sitting out on the balcony with a beer or glass of wine is heaven and the food is pretty good too, ashame it is closing late this year or early next year for a complete redevelopment

Lindas on King at Newtown is another favourite, it is classy enough for a special occassion but still casual enough too, love there salt and pepper prawns which always seem to be on the specials menu and their deserts are heaven.

Also will agree with stae about Uppercrust pies at Collaroy, yum

Always been a big fan of The Balkan in Darlinghurst, been going there for at least 30 years, serving used to be huge and they were the best schnitzels in Sydney, not quite as good as they were years ago but still pretty good, it has been closed for the last couple of months but is reopening in Crown st soon.

For Yum Cha i love the Golden Unicorn at Maroubra

Also for something a bit special, Graze at Pyrmont, small tasting plates but the flavours are sublime

Horrie The Balkan is a great restaurant, that drink they hit you with, Slipovitz (I'm sure that's spelt wrongly) it's firewater but it washes the food down and gets you warm.

Sea Bay Chinese Dumpling, 372 Pitt St Sydney. Lino tables looks like it's a dump but some of the best authentic dumplings style food I've ever eaten. Another place that does a roaring trade.

There was and hopefully still is a Yum Cha restaurant in the Haymarket building (can't recall the name) that had the big fish tanks at the entrance. If you didn't arrive early you literally had to wait in a sea of people, it was very well known. It was a famous restaurant at night, seats hundreds. Best Yum Cha I've ever eaten, it was shown on a cooking program once overseas as the best Yum Cha outside of Asia.

Redoak Boutique Beer Cafe, 201 Clarence Street Sydney. Great atmosphere and the tasting plates matching beers are brilliant. Definitely worth a run if you like your beer.

En Casa is too good, great Tapas!

Great, great noodles from the Noodle Hut (I think that's what it's called) Hornsby, Pacific Hwy, one of those waxed cardboard tubs costs less than a tenner, will feed a family of four, but of course we usually get 3 or 4, reheat leftovers for days!

BBQ King of course, annual dinner down there after day 3 of the Sydney Test match, when you've had a skinful of very average beer & just need a cheeky chardy followed by a cheekier Pinot with the duck & pork hhhhmmmmmmmmmmm!

BBQ King is great BA, always my last stop before the drive home, BBQ Pork hmmmm.

I hate to say this but Souffs Juniors Chinese used to be a mean feed. I always wore something RWB though, the looks as you enter the club, I loved it.

Old Castile Bondi Pizza, 191 Old South Head Rd Bondi. Used to be a great restaurant in Bondi Rd opposite The Royal, now just takeaway. The Calzones are brilliant, even GeorgieBoy loves them. I think they have a few other restaurants aswell, not sure if they are franchised???
