    Sounds pretty good.

I got the cheese souffle to start I thought it was good'ish, main I got Dolphin fish in a broth with mussels + balmain bugs + salmon roe, that was fckin AWESOME. Good value for money and a great meal would def go back.

next month i am going to saki and anana cant wait
Thanks for the tip but it's just a little far from our office at lunch time. I do go up there to catch the bus home near Channel 7. That building was plastered with Canterbury posters and stickers on Wednesday. By Friday someone had ripped them all down and rightly so..

We are going to Cafe Chicane in Bond Street again next week for a farewell lunch. The servings are quite big (I work with a lot of hungry boys) and it's actually classified as a bar too. It's cool in summer and not too claustrophobic in a nice airy building. They have take away lunches as well. I'd like to go back there at night as well as it's such a nice classy atmosphere

We will go there for lunch one day soon. It was a mad house when I went there for dinner the other Friday night but the staff are great, it works like a well oiled machine.

              • Pizza Bambino on Missendon Rd Newtown , manager is a Roosters fan who was at the game last night then he was straight back at work afterwards, went after the game last night, nice pizzas, go here quite often when feeling like an old fashioned style pizza with a bit of a twist.

                    • Was at the sydney fish markets yesterday, and had the worlds biggest oyster. Thai lady shucked it there and put a squeeze of lemon on it, very very good. $12 per oyster but it is probably the equivalent to 5 or 6 standard sydney rock oysters.

She didn't shuck it under water like the rest of the markets do, as she said you lose the taste of the sea when done like that.

Same lady with the oysters cooks a Singapore chilli crab after you have picked which crab you like.

Sydney fish markets are my food spot everytime I get to sydney from now on.

Sounds like you have been travelling a bit .You should love Tasi when you go, beautiful spot, did have oysters while I was down there, beautiful but they are the pacific variety but I still rate the Sydney Rock above them overall but the clear waters of Tasi do give the pacifics a beautiful taste.
Are you travelling all around the island ? If you get a chance go to Bruny Island, it is about 30 mins drive from Hobart to the ferry, beautiful spot and lots of great food options, had the most stunning but simple meal at a little café that was in a paddock on someones property, trevally was the local fish of the time and it was done beautifully.
