Side note, just about every car that went past me at over 200kmh on the weekend in Germany was either an Audi or a Volvo.
The food there at the Xmas markets was sensational btw!

That's it for me for the 'forced socialising' for this year so I'm looking forward to resuming my geek girl offseason activities of bird watching, seeing art house movies at the Dendy Opera Quays, library book reading and writing in my new Roosters diary..
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year and I will see you all next season. I'm need to step away from the computer for the next few months and enjoy being back home in our wonderful city. Thanks guys for keeping me company whilst I was stuck in Melboring. As much as I love to bicker and argue with a few of you, I really do get a lot of laughs out of this place.."Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli

So again, Happy Birthday and I'm happy you had a nice lunch with your Mum. I went to a work Christmas lunch today at Criniti's and as per your request I will review it...let's just say it's not my sort of place as I'm not a fan of the 'nightclub' feel in the middle of the day. We had a private dining area which wasn't really private as there was loud music being pumped in everywhere plus a DJ's desk and equipment dumped right near our table which I moved because one of the ladies in my group is expecting a baby and I didn't want her to trip. I had to ask for a chair for my manager because funnily enough he didn't want to stand for a 2 hour lunch . We had to ask 3 times for water and then it came out without glasses. I think they expected us to swill it from the bottles. It was incredibly loud and impossible to converse. As for the food itself, I had the entree size corn fritters which were ok as I don't eat large main meals and 3 people at the table were unable to eat their pasta. The salads looked very good though and were presented beautifully.

Thank you again.
I was thinking the same, we exchanged plestsetries (not sure on the spelling of that one) & they get deleted. Maybe they thought our accounts got hacked?
Redwhiteblue we are definately on different pages but we do have the Roosters in common & we both like chatting about them, I know I can be annoying but I dont mean to offend. You are entitled to at times to tell me to shut up or pick me up on spelling mistakes or disagree with my posts & hate me but so long as we can come back onto the forum at a later time & communicate with each other it's all good.
Trust me redwhiteblue if you did ever meet me you would think I am OK. You wouldn't fall in love with me but my personality would win you over.
Thanks for the run down on Critis's. You should of told them you were Roosters fans.
