                    • Life Boat seafood at Brooklyn came through trumps again.Had lunch there with my brother and sister in law on Saturday afternoon, had prawns, oysters and black fish chips and salad which was supberb washed down with a few glasses of vino, then ordered a huge seafood feast from them when my whole family came up to the Hawkesbury for Sunday lunch, truly great seafood and they make their own chips which are just so yummy.
Coming back today had to call into Pie in the Sky at Cowan, love their beef and burgandy pies.

Mate being a Berowra boy, I used to dine quite regularly at Pie in the sky. I actually used to go for a feed there after a tough days fishing on the Hawkesbury. I would down a few pies then kick back on the grass just to side and have a sleep! just lovely on a nice spring day!

As for lunch on the water though, there used to be (not sure if its still going as I havnt been home for a while) a great place called Peats Bite on the Hawkesbury. Its just downstream from Berowra Waters and only accessible by either seaplane or boat. We flew in from Rose Bay and had an awesome lunch with some great live music. A truely lovely way to spend and afternoon. Was really funny also as when our plane was departing we had to wait until Singo (John Singleton) tried to get his boat off the sandbar he was beached on when trying to leave!
