For an authentic Italian first class meal I recommend it, the wine is amazing too but thats where they get u the list is very expensive with the cheapest being 55.Last edited by Parkway_Drive; 11-11-2013, 11:13 PM.Originally posted by boogie

Hey guys, if you're in Marrickville....try this joint.
http://www.bautruong.com.au/
It's about 300m or so up Marrickville Rd from both Thai Paragon and Bay Tinh and it's well worth a visit. Dishes range from about $6 for some of the tapas sized ones, to 30 odd for the crispy pork belly. Considering the pork belly is about half the price of spice Temple, it's an absolute winner.
Went to Mr Wong in the city the other Saturday, and it's awesome. I was determined not to like it, as I can't stand Justin Hemmes, but this place is well worth a visit. Busy, and a bit noisy, but the food was brilliant.

OMG, just went to the White Cockatoo Hotel to check out the schnitzels everyone have been raving about.Obscene, to say they are huge is an understatement.I am a big eater but struggled to make a dent in it, after doggie bagging it I now have another 2 meals out of it.Steaks are the same size
Mind you quantity doesn't always mean quality, the schnitzel was pleasant enough but I wouldn't say it was gourmet food.

Me and Ms Loiner got one to share and I still had enough left for a big lunch on Wednesday....
