            Yep love the Hawkesbury schoolies
Yep the Pacifics have the virus just about everywhere in the world now, they tried to establish them in the Georges River, big fail, then they failed in the Hawkesbury and now they are failing in Port Stephens, bloody introduced species, not a patch on the Sydney rocks.

                • Going to Lindas on King Fiday night, it is always a good feed, a place which is special enough for a big occasion and also casual enough too.

Love the scenic drive down there from Sydney starting from snaking through the National Park then onto Stanwell Tops then across the new bridge, mind you I always loved driving around the cliff area where the bridge is now before it slid away. As wine is part of the lunch I am going to get the train down.
Its funny, I read some really good reviews of Flanagans not long ago and then suddenly it turned up on travelzoo so I booked it, the deal sold out long before it was supposed to expire so I think it is a popular destination, really looking forward to trying it out, just have to work out a date to go there now

Chorizos, bacon, mushrooms, fruit, banana bread, cheesy bread rolls, fresh baked bread, yoghurt, eggs, coffee and 3 types of fresh juices, endless top ups. Great service, very polite and quality food. Dont think it can be beaten for value.
                            Bump.

had too since I was in sydney for the WCC, made sure we went back and faultless if not a bit better than last time, because we came prepared and knew how much food we were in for. The staff are very cool and speak in a thick accent which makes u want to ask them more questions. They added acai smoothies and chipolata sausage and frittata to the already fab menu this time.

                              • Na Bangkok...2/888 Anzac Parade Maroubra Junction.

Tiny little place with cheap furniture etc.....but the food is fantastic and the staff very friendly. As it is in the cheaper end of the spectrum and it is a small place with a lot of take away clientele....it also closes usually early before 900pm most days....fine dining it aint.

However, the food that I have sampled makes a mockery of other Thai joints that charge quite a bit more.

I had the Massamam beef curry the other day and the beef just melted in your mouth.

I have to try LoD's chicken joint soon.
