John was banned for his appalling taste in music, for making inane political references in every post, and also because it was apparent that he was, albeit slowly, losing his mind

Quite the opposite in fact. And this is not the first time John has been banned only under different alliances. But I'll assume Mickey has his tongue in cheek with his comment.
Fowl has been banned at least 4 or 5 times (that I can remember) in the past 18 months I've been on the Chookpen and he keeps coming back under different usernames.

How is it that you and lemon_goat still haven't been banned and John, a Gold member, has been banned. If he did say something offensive he should have been given a warning or banned for a week, not totally banned. I agree that sometimes he did cross the line with his comments but he is a genuine easts supporter and his passion for our club is something which cannot be doubted. From his comments alone you can tell that he has had a long history supporting our club.

I'm not even sure that TOK goes for easts. He has never publicly quoted that he does and when asked what team he does go for he never answers.
