      Chook.
      Agree, mate.
I liken it to cars/bikes & limiting power.
Dumb is dumb so will make something lethal no matter what it is.

        Terrible, terrible situation.
All I can think of is my two beautiful children aged 10 and 8 and how those poor families must feel having their young kids taken away like that.
And to the gunman, what on earth was going on in his life for him to premeditate and carry out such a horrible, unthinkable action.

Just one little bit of info to come out about him......a very detached individual who was unable to feel pain, physical & emotional, at any level.

An interview I heard was from a guy who had something to do with the whole tradgedy, I dont know if he was a Politician a Police spokesman a parent or the Principle but he said that someone at the school scene should of started shooting at the shooter. He couldn't believe that no one had a gun with them.

I dont believe many law abiding citizans carry guns in the US. Maybe down in Texas.
When I went there in 2008 California & Arozona they have sports stores with dedicated areas with all sorts of guns on sale, but you have to have a licence. Same as here.
From my experiences when I was in the States I found the people to be great. My observations of the States comparred to Australia was that Australia has more of an array of everything comparred to them. Australia is a better overall country than the USA.

And hererin lies the stupidity of the problem. It's an Elementary School, why would anyone that works at an elementary school need a gun?

              Chook.

                Yep.
It just makes the whole problem bigger, rather than it being a solution.

Teryaki Chicken Boy is an animal activist and does his best to befriend and protect Goats so be careful Greeds. His weapon of choice is his keyboard!

Back on topic... Being a father of two children in the age group of those lost, its hard to even think about the loss and despair that their parents are going through right now. I would never want to be in that situation. My kids are my life and if they didnt come home one day I wouldnt know what to do.

You would be better off shooting chickens with a sore throat, small people with an inferiority complex, bad smelling chickens, ferrets and people who think ralph performs fellatio. I wonder if this person has posted on this forum before?
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".
