Worth a drop in next time you're off to a gig at the Enmore.
I like how there are new wine bars popping up everywhere, i like going to Bench which is on King St Newtown down near the corner of Alice St, the owner was running pizza piccasso and she turned the eat in area into the bar and kept the kitchen as take away but has now expanded the wine bar into where the kitchen was and moved the pizza operation further down the road near St Peters station.

When i am over the north side i sometimes pop into the Kirribilli Hotel for a beer and sometimes a feed, they used to have James Squire battered onion rings on the menu which were yummy but they have taken them off the menu

Couple of pubs to visit on a weekend are Catho Pub at Catherine Hill Bay on the central coast. Old mining town, old pub, very nostalgic.
Wisemans Ferry pub is another good one. Go for a drive on the weekend have a nice feed and a couple of beers.
The problem with living in the western suburbs of Sydney is we don't have trendy pubs, mind you like most on here you can never go wrong with your local. The good old Quakers Inn

Bench sounds good mate...might try and give it a shot over the weekend.

The whole 'small bar' thing is the reason I thought this thread might be a good idea. Every time you pick the paper up, there's a new one being recommened by someone and it's getting harder to keep up. I hate to miss out on a good bar/pub!

The thing is Malph, whenever you think you are giving me a hard time you are always wrong. I banned myself dude. Get your head out of your arse.

As for that other farkwit's site, this is the story. He told me I would never get on it. I told him I would. Sure enough I got on there. I posted one time only. I repeat, one time only. I outed myself, told him I won and posted a picture of a bunch of guys in a circle jerk. Of course he found it pretty quickly, deleted it and banned me. But that was the point Malph. He knows it and I know it. Anyway, that was a long time ago. If you think I spend my time worrying about things like that you are even dimmer (see what I did there?!) than I thought and that is pretty farking dim.

You have to be either the biggest hypocrite or the biggest wanker this site has ever seen. I will let you decide which one. Just choose one or the other. I will respect which ever one you choose.
