Thats one level above a goose spending every waking minute trying to be accepted on a site that doesnt want him and then apparently posting wanking pictures all over it. Fitting I guess comeing from the biggest wanker on this site!

      Come on... bite again....!

Just a quick update on the pub front.....

Went to The Bar At The End of the Wharf last weekend, behind the Sydney Theatre company.

Top place, well worth a visit. If you have out of towners coming, or if you're from out of town yourself.....it's a must visit. Right on the water on Hickson Road.

Some funky beers too...draught beer is from some mob in Newtown and the bottles are Little Creatures and that type. Lovely.

Great spot even though i have not had a drink at the bar.Wonder if the Newtown beer is by the little brewery near where i live at St Peters, still have not tried any of their beers yet, something i will have to correct soon.

Just had a look at their website, the draught beer is Young Henry's of Newtown. Pretty good if you fancy a change from the usual New/VB/Carlton.

Never seen it in the Newtown pubs.....maybe because I haven't looked for it.

Hi guys, bit of good news for those who watch the Jets.

The Henson Park Hotel closed down about 3 weeks ago due to the owner moving the licence to a place on Marrickville Rd.

Anyhow, I was hearing the other night that the Henson has been bought by the people who have the Trinity in Surry Hills. They're hoping to have the licence reinstated and have the place open in time for the first Jets home game!

During the course of the year, they're looking at doing full reno's. If it's anything like the Trinity, it'll be great....especially for me, as I live about 50 metres away....

I went to the White Cockatoo Hotel in Petersham a few weeks back and had one of their giant schnitzels. It was massive, I couldn't finish it but I could see some blokes setting a challenge for themselves and trying to smash one.

Kingsgrove-Loiner, this is embarrassing but The Grove used to be my local dive for a good time. I live in the Shire now and my local is Miranda Pub, does a decent feed.

Hey Lauren, whoa.....the Grove. I've just moved to Marrickville, but never went in the Grove much apart from cheap steak night. To quote one of my mates "it's full of skanky old chicks and Maori scaffolders threatening to knock each other out". That's why I've always gone to Surry Hills, or over the border into St george land.......

Haha, your mate is bang on - I ended up there the night after our semi win against the Tigs in 2010 which also happened to be the same night as an All-Blacks game, whoa big mistake!

Seriously, try the White Cockatoo, the schnittys are amazeballs.

Went to the White Cockatoo last night after the tip off from Lauren.

She's absolutely right, the snitty's are awesome, absolutely gigantic and available in about 20 varieties.

I'm having the rest of mine for lunch today, and probably tomorrow as well.

Nice pub, and worth a visit. Especially if you haven't eaten for 3 days.

And as a bonus, it's a 15 minute walk from my house.

Seeing as the Henson Park pub is coming along very slowly, I've been going in the Vic (ex Vic on the Park.)

Singo took it over about 5/6 months ago, and it's a great pub. Live music on most nights, footy on the big screen, good food, and the music quiz on a Wednesday ( I didn't win). Well worth a visit before Newtown games. Or any time, come to that....I'm hard pressed to find a bad time to go to the pub.

Had a beer or three at the Newtown Hotel this arvo on the balcony watching all the chaotic King St traffic go by and watching all the crazy pedestrian jay walkers and bike riders risk near death, nice and relaxing watching it from a distance.
