Used to it now so it doesn't happen as often, also we have cats, the toads don't seem to like them strangely.

The other night the wife chased one who decided to go swimming in the pool. I almost pissed myself watching and hoping shed fall in. Sadly she hadn't drank enough.

    Im back! Nice walk.

lol at the toad on the pool. A tap on the back for your wife would have done the trick though!

Here is a nice pool story boys. That 45 degree day on Friday..I jump into my pool at around 10am and felt the urge to do some laps. I look around but can't find my goggles so I jump out to expand my search. I walk around to the other side of the pool and find A ****ING SMALL BROWN SNAKE SWIMMING AROUND ON TOP OF THE WATER!!! GEEZUS...thank **** i couldnt find my goggles!

Suffice to say there is one dead snake without a head in the bin!

The only browns that are harmless ralphy are the ones sitting in between your arse and your underpants after you come face to face with a snake!

Cmon mate. Dont go there. Thats a pandoras box here lately!

I have actually sat next to a couple of browns when ive been fishing in Lake Burley Griffin. Scares the shit of ya when youve been sitting there for a half hour or so, look down and see a rather large brown snake, curled up just 2 feet away. Thats happened more than once! Trick is, just leave thm alone. They wont do anything unless provoked. Hope you had a BIG shovel!

Haha mate, don't worry it wont last. Then again when it does decide to rain up here, it floods. Been a few years, we are due IMO.

I was in Potty last Friday night for a mates bday. I'm still recovering, Poker and Fresh Muddies and Beer till 4 am, I'm getting too old for that shit.

Problem was that i had them on my mind for the rest of the day so every time something shuffled around near by i,d scream like a gypsy!

I actually saw some gypsies get pulled up in a shop for pick pocketing last year. Funny looking bastards!

                                I blame Brutt 33 Mun.

They are nasty creatures, nothing really redeemable IMO.

We get them up here, I've heard all the stories from friends, but touch wood, I've been very lucky so far I haven't crossed one as yet. Gekkos, toads, midges, wasps, bearded dragons, spiders etc I can handle but snakes just are another level.

My friends at Potty we visited last week made the papers last year when the wife went into their yard and their 2 year olds arm was inside a pythons mouth and it wasn't letting go. She's screaming and neighbors are running they got the snake off the little bloke and he was rushed to hospital and was OK. But fark me what a sick thing to see.
