I got sucked into buying one too mate, $30 for something worth 30 cents and that includes the iron on patch. Cheap piece of shit.

Getting ****ed that bad was the best sex I've had in ages.

      Chook.

I went to the club to get one of those retro T-shirts to wear to the Foundation Cup as I've been wanting one for ages. Let's just say I'd be getting arrested for indecent exposure if I did wear it. It was so see through, you could read the newspaper through it. Those ones we had from a label called 10 Yard were so much better and 4 years later, I'm still wearing them. There is another new range coming out soon so I'll check that out. There was an email this week and they look slightly better.

I had the same problem with the retro t-shirt from Rebel Sport.

Wore it once and it was ok, after the first wash it shrunk and went all out of shape. Like Stevey J, I did not put mine in the dryer either. The sleeve's stretched (and it wasn't from my guns - or pistols in my case) and it was just a piece of shit tbh.

P.S The 10 yard line stuff is great. I've still got those t-shirts aswell. I've got a million hoodies because that's where they started to put the old chook on things. I'm a sucker for that old emblem.

I love the old emblem too, much more than any other the club has come up with. I have the old retro emblem on a tin sign with all the old grand final years on it hanging in the kitchen. Gives the place that rustic country feel too. I bought it on ebay from an antiques shop in Lane Cove 4 years ago and it used to hang in my shop. So many people wanted to buy it but I'm never parting with it.

I have the 10 yard women's hoodie from 2008 and the quality is amazing. My niece has the Parra one from when they made the grand final in 2009. Now that I've lost weight, I can actually do the zip up too! Far be it from me to drive business away from the club but I just rang Guy Stuff in Windsor as I kept an ad of theirs out of an old Rugby League Week and they do the proper retro tees from all clubs, including the Bears, in high quality thick cotton T-shirts. They have an Easts one in stock at the moment and here is their website:

You are welcome Greeds. The retro T-shirt they have looks just like the one stocked by the club though. The girl I spoke to at Guy Stuff said they are not see through, are of good quality and they've never had any complaints. I do know they've been stocking these T-shirts for years as the ad I've kept from the RLW is at least 4 years old and I've just never gotten around to buying one. There was a members email sent out this week with a new T-shirt in it which looked quite good but it's not on the official website yet. There is only one women's T-shirt and it's really ugly I'm sorry to say.

I think the tag on my retro shirt was a mob called 'league legends'. I'll have to double check when I get home but I'm pretty sure that's it.

Would be interesting to see the tags on these new ones, if infact they are new ones.

They are the Classic brand and much better quality. I think I'll add "Personal Shopper" to my list of wet weather hobbies.

Just bought one from Guy Stuff so I'll be the forum guinea pig. I'll let you know what the quality is like when it arrives.

Yep, i must get one, i am always into retro but more so now turning 50.I love the old Rooster logo.
I was given a t shirt for my birthday that was done by a place in Newtown, the person took in a pic and they did a great job of printing it on a t shirt, i'm going to try and find an old Roosters logo and see what the guy can do, i also want an ABBA one too.
I do want an official Roosters one too so will wait to see what your verdict is on the quality.

My T-shirt arrived today and the quality is not bad at all. It's not see through for starters. The fit seems ok as I bought a small (just don't send me too many chocolates for Valentine's Day fellas. I'm happy with diamonds, pearls or a small island) and I've just washed it now. The only thing I'm not keen on is the faded logo. I would much prefer it to be darker and let it fade over time. The brand is Retro Classic, like my old retro jersey which I bought years ago. I'll probably give it a first outing to the Foundation Cup. For those of you heading to Belmore next week for the Jets trial, I will see you all then. I'm off to enjoy my last girlie weekend of freedom before the trials start (how quickly the offseason has gone, thank goodness!) and the week after that, I'm heading to Canberra for a few days to see our friend Tones and some bloke at the art gallery called Toulouse Lautrec. So behave kids, Happy Valentines Day and play nicely with each other. Greeds, I'm putting you in charge of manners and etiquette whilst I'm away..

make sure while you are at the gallery to have a look at the turrell out the front. its pretty cool, especially if you knew how many painstaking hours of work went into it!( i worked there for 3yrs on the whole extension, but the turrell is my fav)
