As I said Geale exited the ring straight after the decision was announced in the 1st fight To be consistent you should have pot shot at him for that as well
Well **** Andy, perhaps if we had had this conversation way back in 2009 I might have had a pot shot.

I could have sworn Geale at least tried to shake his hand.

Although I still think there is a difference here, Geale was legitimately robbed in the first fight and had genuine reason to feel a bit hard done by and upset, whereas Mundine knows he got dominated, his ego just won't let him admit it.

If he wasn't such a big mouth he could admit defeat and move on, but because he had so much to say before the fight he can't do anything else but deny, deny, deny.

Dont wear the keyboard out Greeds. This discussion with AW is like trying to convince Mundane that he lost the fight.

        "I was robbed!"
        "The judges are all corrupt!"
        "They are all racists"
        "Im da man"

        PMSL at that wannabe goose.

No - that he has achieved. If you replace the word 'man' with 'goose' every time Mundine speaks (about himself) you will realise he makes a lot of sense. Think about it, just go to his quotes and you'll see what I mean.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

I didn't see the fight. But is it true mundine went to apologise/approach Geales wife and she turned her bak on him? If so, that was the best result of the night.

No, it's not true at all.

The words 'apology' and 'sorry' wouldn't even be in his very limited vocabulary.

Well I will just have to settle for him being beaten then.

cheers chaps. As an avid fan I gave him 1 round, but only to compensate for the bias I had towards Mundine.

the shenanigans after the fight sh*ts me to tears. you lost, suck it up and move forward.

and learn from your old man.

                    Learn from his old man???
I keep hearing how good his old man was but don't you think his rep is taking a bit of a beating too. I mean for fark sake he's your son, tell him to pull his head in. I put Tony Mundine in the same category as his drop kick mates that hang around and pump his tyres up all the time. At some stage surely his DAD had to tell him that he is carrying on like a clown.
I saw the fight and I saw Tony actually in the car park when Geale arrived, he actually shook his hand and wished him luck, but, then when his idiot son dribbles shit and carries on like a child he says nothing. I just don't understand

That's actually a very good point Rooboy, I am/was a big fan of Tony Mundine, I admired him as a boxer (apart from his glass jaw!) & he has always appeared to be a humble gentleman in his post boxing life. Anthony does seem to have him tied around his little finger though, it seems to be a thing with Anthony, to surround himself with yes men & sycophants, you only had to hear what his corner was telling him towards the end of the fight, that all he had to do was win the next couple of rounds & the fight was his, what a joke, Daniel was at least 8 or 9 rounds ahead of Mouth after 10 rounds, he was gone & only a KO on Daniel could have saved his sorry arse, which was never going to happen, his punches didn't have any sting & Daniel's defense had him covered nearly all night. So the only thing I can think of in regard to old man Tony is that he is too weak to take on his own son, which is very sad IMO.

                        Mundane is 37 years old.

He's too old to be told, he's been too old to be told since before he started boxing.

He's never listened to advice, he has always had the attitude he will do things his way.

I believe his media shit is staged mostly anyways. I reckon long ago he was advised what his antics will bring but he chose to ignore that advice and play it his way. Which he has every right to do. What he is trying to do is polarize opinions and get people to watch him fight, no matter if it's to see him win or lose.

Remember he is all about making coin. It's no different to what we all do, look for the best way to make the serious cash. If he could've made similar money playing footy I doubt he'd have ever left.

The trash talk and outrageous claims keep us talking and if there is a rematch or he fights Green or someone else everyone will take the bait and get the fight on cos he has everyone hooked.

He's like Rothwitt, most can't resist even though they know he's making suckers out of them.

I don't like their style so I don't click on the site, don't buy the paper or hook up Mundanes fights. It's that simple.

IMO blaming his old man is pointless. He probably has talked to his son before and realizes he provides for his family and lives a healthy lifestyle that's all a parent can really ask.

Does it really matter what people think thru the media??? Especially when he create that animosity for a purpose???

I don't like it and wouldn't encourage his way of doing things but I bet he's made heaps more coin than his old man ever did.

Not trying to blame his old man just can't understand how people can think he is just an innocent by-stander in all this.
I have no doubt all the shit is for promotion and to squeeze a few $$$ more out of the public. I have only ever brought 3 fights and that was the green fight and both of geales because I wanted to watch them box more then I wanted to see him.

In fairness to Tony I do seem to recall years ago, around the time he quit RL, the question was asked what his opinion was of Mundanes foot in mouth disease.

From memory he looked rather embarrassed by it all and sheepishly answered "he's his own man" or words to that effect.

We don't know what's been said behind closed doors but IMO the fact Tonys always seemed to distance himself from any of Mundanes stunts tells me he doesn't agree with his tactics but can't do much to stop them so he let's it go.

There isn't much else he could do other than to publicly condem his son and that would be a hard thing to do, especially when Mundane hasn't done anything illegal or even really morally wrong, he's just a Dickhead around microphones basically.

Well if he can sleep well at night & will be happy with his legacy when the day comes for reflection, then I guess he will have no regrets & a healthy bank balance. If it was me, I would have trouble living with myself, knowing the potential I had to unite the country & be loved by my people & all I had done was divide the Aboriginal community & the nation by spreading my vindictive diatribe, all for the sake of the dollar.
