Just got back from a tough 10 days of doing bugger all on a cruise. Good to see we smashed the Eags even if it was only a trial. On the boat I saw a guy on day 1 in a Chooks jumper, gave him a nod and a thumbs up. For the next 10 days this bloke was wearing a different Roosters jumper or shirt or combo of shirt/shorts/caps/scarves...you name it, he was in it. Asked him if he was in the pen but he wasn't. Explained he was a bushie and couldn't get to any games. Talked hin into a membership over a few beers and had a great time reliving the good old days and talking up our chances this year etc Told him about the website (he had never heard of the Chookpen) and he said he'd drop in and have a look. Good on ya champion if you made it here and thanks for the beers. Go Easts.
