I think it's based on the fact that Tony Abbott has convictions. He has the conviction that maybe, just maybe, the murder of a foetus should be something that isn't just a lifestyle choice for a woman and it should only be a last resort in case of either harm to the mother or from a rape.

I always cite the example that if you've ever seen an abortion then you'll never want another one to happen ever again.


Continuing on Tony Abbott. He has the conviction that maybe that this country shouldn't be overran by people who are only here to either cause mayhem or welch off the system. And that maybe we should have national pride again. And be a sovereign nation, not just a dumping ground for humanity's turds.

And this is coming from a guy who actually doesn't like Tony Abbott.

Regardless of who has been Prime Minister in this country, we still seem to be unable to behave with dignity and decorum towards those in office. It's downright embarrassing to read some of the ways we as a nation have vilified various leaders over the decades and it just makes us look like a nation of bogans. Back in 1917, an egg was thrown at Billy Hughes whilst he was visiting my home town of Warwick (YES THAT REALLY IS IN QUEENSLAND!) and now almost a hundred years later, this sort of behaviour is still considered amusing. We haven't progressed much as a society after all..And as for Krudd on the front page of the Telecrap today saying how he has forgiven and forgotten, how about the females he allegedly abused verbally on a regular basis first time around whilst he was in office? Is he going to seek out their forgiveness too? When are people going to realise you can't just march through life treating others appallingly and then expect them to just fall back into line again?
