I did the tour of the Cadbury factory when I was in Tasmania a few years ago, still have some drinking chocolate i bought from there, don't remember it being next door to a brewery though, that is something I would definitely remember
When I go up to the Hunter Valley I always spend up here,i like the shop right next door to the Peterson Champagne House, now chocolate and bubbles, that is a great combo http://www.hvchocolate.com.au/site/index.cfm
[QUOTE=milanja;329752]RWB u seem to know your chocs, wife was in sydney city last yr and bought me home a massive chocolate frog from some chocolate shop, I liked it alot, but she couldn't remember the name of the shop.

That would be Haigs. They are from South Australia and have a store in the Strand Arcade and one in Melboring in The Block Arcade. Here they are:
Funny thing is, I will keep chocolates for months on end and not even look at them if I'm given them as a gift but leave a block of cheese near me and it will disappear..maybe Turk can start a cheese appreciation thread for me.

That first one from the mountains has the Sydney store around the corner from where I work.

Isn't the Cascade Brewery near there? I though you were the one who told me about it..

Ok, not chocolate but mints. Specifically in a limited edition NRL tin..from Coles..do you think I can find any Roosters ones?? No, of course not..the idiots who do distribution decided to send boxes of Tigers, Parra, Manly and Canterbury ones to Rose Bay North Coles. I asked at the counter tonight if they had any Roosters ones. The polite young man told me no and the Souths ones has just sold out..to whom I do not know because they have no teeth to chew them with...

Well its not to far away, probably about 15km away, I do like your way of thinking though, brewery next to a chocolate factory, heaven.
I remember our tour guide looked like Gina Riley, I had the giggles, I could imagine Fast Forward doing a comedy skit with chocolate.

Actually didn't do the tour of the Cascade Brewery because we had already done the tour of the Boags brewery a few days earlier in Launceston. The Boags tour was so good I went again when I was down in Launceston for the Swans vs Hawthorn match last year.
Hmmmm chocolate. What girl doesn't like chocolate?
I love a cherry ripe.
And of course anything and everything Lindt.
If I were given a wheel of brie or camembert, it's worth more than chocolates or flowers to me. The chocolates will go in the special cupboard but the gift of cheese is guaranteed to get any man out of the bad books with me..
MR, I used to love that limited edition Cherry Ripe ice cream which was out about 15 years ago..

I do love brie and camembert, especially brie.I always like finding a restaurant that serves deep fried camembert, its heart attack on a plate but so yummy.

They are at Fox Studios too on a Saturday according to the website. Thanks for the link. I'll check them out in the offseason in time for Christmas presents.

Thats the one! Cheers.
On cheese, im sort of the same, I can be found melting cheese at 2 in the morning with a piece of bread a couple times a week!
Try rubbing camembert with raw garlic all over, then rub on some olive oil, wrap in prosciutto and bake for 15min. You might die, but you should die happy!
