I'd get one of the giant lamingtons from my local bakery, which are $2, a box of home brand tea, a lean cuisine pasta on special, a bag of baby spinach, a handful of mushrooms and a green apple. I'd then walk to a sunny spot near the harbour with a bottle of tap water and read a library book, and then go to the Art Gallery of NSW and look at the free exhibitions. Then I'd go to Bondi Junction and spend the last couple of dollars on a coffee at the leagues club and sit in the Legends Bar and be surrounded by Freddy, Artie and Peardy.

Want he best rock oysters.. go to farley's oysters at Karuah nth of newcastle, best in the world and only $8 a dozen..
Geez haven't been to Karuah since the Pacific Highway by passed it.I remember a story in the news I think it was back in the 90's that the owner of the Karuah caravan park was pumping his effluent into the Karuah River and it affected the oyster leases there.
Just checked out Karuah and there is a place that sells oyster pies there, yummm sounds good.I love oysters and always have them when I travel up and down the coast but I have found generally the south coast oysters are nicer than the north coast ones.
