The root cause of "global warming" is at issue here because the root cause gives the background needed for the "reasons to change the world" as rcptn puts it. If the root cause is natural, normal cycles or increased solar activity, then there isn't much point in ETSs and associated paraphernalia which are largely designed to reduce man's contribution to "climate change."

I have learnt never to assume I know what the other person "means" when they say something, particularly on the net. If Shadow meant "man made" then he should have said "man made", but he didn't. If he feels the need to correct himself, then fine I will argue that point with him.

The Copenhagen Accord that didn’t happen among the many nations represented but was agreed to among less than ten nations including the US is alive and well. It seems they plan to go ahead with that plan regardless of opposition from well over 100 nations. Evidently there is a plan to go ahead and spend the 100 Billion designed to bribe third world countries to sign the treaty. We need to stop this in Congress.

See here is another example of the holes in your conspiracy theory. If the leaders of the countries involved wanted to raise taxes they simply raise taxes. There is absolutely no need for some elaborate scam or conspiracy, as the leaders of their countries they can raise taxes anytime they want too.
