I do pologise if I appear as being "hot under the collar" about this topic. I welcome debate on this subject as long as that debate is based on facts and evidence and NOT half arsed conspirasy theories.

What rcptn has tried to do in this thread is attribute to Gore a claim that cannot be justified or proven simply because it is untrue. He has then tried to make the spurious link that what Gore stands for is also a lie, basing that on the untruth. He's then tried to further enhance his claim by stating oil is abundant, linking two irrelevant topics.

You want a AGW debate rpctn, then I welcome it. But if you think I'm gunna sit here and give your ridiculous theories credence by debating them think again.

May I ask, as it doesn't seem to have been asked of you, what would constitute acceptable proof to your mind of anything that rcptn is asserting, be it the contents of the Copenhagen Treaty or theories/inferences about what the drafters of the treaty may or may not be trying to achieve through its creation and passage?

Understood and thank you for replying Chook. I find it interesting that one man's view of the world requires proof for another man to see that view - in this, you and rcptn could be either of these men. What is self-evident to either and both of you may not be to the other.
