Hi fatties.....put the fork down and lose those pounds.

Holmes is trying to get down to his key weight of 90kg.

Anyone interested in the challenge ?

So far I have lost six kilos and down to 110kg....I'm a naturally big build build of a guy...so looking for other people to shed a few with me.

    Interested ?

    I'm losing weight, brother.

I'm not big by any means, 170 cm and 74 kg.

However, as a Taekwondo competitor, I am currently in one weight class too high. I need to drop down to 66kg to be eligible for the division below, which is not only my preferred weight for comfort and competition, but also for my speed work and fitness.

    So, in summary, I'm in

Haha, I'm not a tall bloke, don't forget that. Short, with powerful upper body, remember I am also only 20 years old, the extra weight of a fully developed body + years of aging hasn't completely set in yet.

66 kg might be very lean, but for my height and my sport, it is the ideal weight.

              No worries Mack

I'll call on rcptn....3 min 3 rounds for a charity fight.

It is Movember, and we are trying to raise money for our fellow Men, for Mens depresion and prostate cancer.

A very good cause, which we, as men always neglect.

Start pounding the pavement Muzz. Fun runs are a good goal to aim for. Running is difficult to start with but gets easier the more you do it. I am looking at a half marathon next year.

Running to places that you would usually drive to is a good one as well.

Places that are no more then, say, a 25-30 minute run distance from your house, you should try and forget about the car and go there by foot. Soon you will begin feeling those kgs drop off, and you often won't feel too worn out because usually you have motivation of actually getting somewhere.

The only problem with jogging, is you end up having knees like Nik Kosef.

Fast walking just as good.....may take a bit longer than if jogging but the knees will survive

Totally agree. Mind you that could be because whenever I pick up the pace into a jog or run I'm lucky to last 2-3 minutes before I'm totally stuffed, espec on the dreaded treadmill.

A fast walk does me fine, if I'm on the treadmill and need a challenge I just include an incline - how much depends on how great a challenge I set at the time.
