I'm sitting at about 118 kilo's...about 30 kilo's too much...if I cut out beer then I'll drop that in several months...problem is I like my daily 2-3 schooners with the boys at the local after work...every morning I wake up and promise myself I will stop that habit and do it once or twice a week only...then my car on the way home is like on auto pilot and it steers me there again and again...

I found duromine worked well, but being an anphetimine, it makes my heart race and I can only take it for very short periods of time...
Will power is something I need...I know I have it....I gave up smoking after 25 years of the habit with no trouble what so ever.....because I wanted to stop.....thats the real key.......now I just need to find it for this....

Reductil i believe contains no amphetamine..i found it easy, all i got was the dry mouth..

Then got into cutting, now sitting at a lean 112. Going to try and see whether i can get under 10% bf.
For those shedding weight, remember, diet is 70% of the challenge.

It happened to me a few years ago when I was on a holiday and could barely walk up a reasonably steep hill I was so unfit, unlike my friend of the same age who could sprint up it like a bleeding mountain goat. I thought to myself "This is ridiculous, if I'm that bad now what will I be like in 20 years".
That experience motivated me enough to join a gym and I made sure I signed up for an extended contract on the basis that, being the person I am, if I'm paying for something I'll be damn sure to use it regularly.
That was early 2003 and I'm still a member of a gym and use it 3 times a week, which makes the membership worthwhile.
I know from experience that I'm not a person who will exercise for the sake of exercising (ie; walk/run before or after work etc), which is why I have to pay to make myself actually partake in it. Making sure I'm not wasting my money is the motivation I need to keep going
NCSupporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

Problem with keeping such a low bf is unless you have great genetics (which i don't) the diet has to be impeccable.

Do you weigh your portions out or just make sure you don't eat any shit?

The electric scales aren't very accurate because they send an impulse up one leg and down the other thus ignoring the fat around the upper region of the body.
Every gym should offer at least a 4 point caliper test which will give you a more
accurate idea.
Realistically though, at the end of the day, unless you are getting an experienced trainer with great equipment, the reading will never be 100% accurate. Oh and believe me, if you ever see the kind of monkeys that AIF( Australian Institute of Fitness) and TAFE puts out into the industry - chances are that your reading will get botched by a couple of percent. Man the standard is bad at the moment.
If you do some clever research on the net, you will be able to find photographic comparisons of BF levels which i think is much more helpful anyway.
As for how i cut BF - 2 ways.
1. I use this method when i am most active ie Summer and do quite a lot of training/Sport
I actually eat very big, but keep it very clean with emphasis on cutting out lazy sugars and any kind of fast food. Also as it gets later in the day, the carb intake gets decreased up to a point of no carbs past 7. Basically - High Protein, moderate carbs, low fat.
2. When i don't really need much energy - cold winter months. Use it to try and really cut fat fast.
Cut all carbs for 6-8 weeks with High protein and moderate fat intake. One cheat meal per week. Did it for the first time this year - great results. Does require great commitment as some days you really feel drained. Training is very hard during this phase.
My 1 great tip is portion control - it is so well known in the public yet so few people can succesfully do it. Day to day i chuckle to myself at people who think they are eating healthy but in reality are putting in an insane amount of cals.
Getting educated is the best answer. I am not talking calorie counting but just roughly knowing what your basic foods contain will put you leaps and bounds ahead of the standard.

couldn't figure out why considering all the shit we ate while in the states.
Then again my usual work day involves at most 45 minutes on my feet, so even just the change to walking everywhere and being active meant I shed a heap of weight.
Ah well you gotta do what ya gotta do for a gay marriage i guess!
