It was a very disappointing evening. No more hot and spicy!

I had to have a Zinger box meal with hot and crispy bites. Also got 10 wings.

Im sitting here now watching the second half of the game and am soo bloated. I’m certain there will be visit to the men’s room before bed tonight.

You’re not wrong. Meatballs and Risoni was a hit as usual. Enough leftovers for another meal too.

      • Hey Horrie we just used 600g of seafood marinara mix from the seafood Co op, mussels, prawns, calamari and fish. Cheated with the sauce it was Gourmet Chef marinara sauce with added freshly chopped Parsley.250g of spaghetti for 2 . Baked in foil garlic bread . Easy and pretty sensational to eat

Try a dash or 2 of cream in your marinara. It's next level!

Thanks Crab but it was Andrew Walker who asked the question.

When i do marinara i usually just get some nice green prawn, mussels and if the already prepared squid or cuttlefish looks ok ( hoods or rings ) i will get that to but if it isn't i leave it out. Usually get a leatherjacket also and cook that separately then and flake the flesh through the sauce at the end. I use a tin of chopped tomato, white wine and oregano as the sauce, and of course fresh parsley.

If i do chilli mussels there always is enough sauce left over ( similar to the above sauce but a few more herbs in it and also the mussel juice )and i keep that and just do few prawns in the sauce for a quick pasta dish.

I had the left overs from Thursday night tonight as feeling lazy after the food and wine fair today.

Salads are not really my thing at the moment, but I do like a prepared one.

Yes and as a Kid also - always 3 courses for dinner.

My Wife says it was traditional in the Soviet Union also and across Europe I suggest - My Relatives in Scotland/Ireland and England when we visited them also always had 3 course Dinners.

The history of the three course meal goes back to Spain in the 9th century

The origins of eating in three parts can be traced back to 9th-century Spain when Persian musician, poet, and teacher Ziryab insisted meals be served in intervals: a soup, followed by a main dish, concluded with a sweet dessert. Ziryab invented the table cloth and encouraged diners to use glassware at dinner.

The standard in restaurants is 3 courses as well - entree/mains/dessert
