  • Spag bol last night.

    Tonight chicken, provolone and spinach sausages, potato bake, steamed beans, carrot and zucchini.

    • Italian style baked chicken portions, honey glazed baked baby carrots with seasoned potato wedges baked in oregano, thinly sliced lime and olive oil .

        How did you do the Italian style chicken portions Crab ? Cacciatore style ?

        • They were thigh cutlets, drumsticks, and wings in an ala de woolworths sauce . :-) They came out tender and delicious!

            I love the thigh cutlets, quite often buy them and bake them in water and lemon juice, come out nice and ends up making a nice gravy too.

            • Going to try and make a jambalaya tonight just with chicken and chorizo. Depends on whether i make any Margi's first which will determine how adventurous i get.

              • Having oven baked chicken thigh cutlets with a paprika and thyme seasoning cooked on a bed of fluffy garlic butter rice. Green veg on the side.

                  • Indian Tonight - Two Indian folk Mrs Salvo met years ago when working in Hospitals before undertaking her GP training - One did their Medical Degree in Ukraine and one in Russia.

                    No matter the weather Mrs Salvo has to have soup - 40 plus degrees even

                          • Pork chops, corn on the cob, zucchini and carrot. Having tomato and basil flavoured rice as a side instead of mash potato.
