Eton Mess is such a cheap way to make something classy looking in a sundae glass - fresh berries, crushed up meringue and cream. For those too lazy to make an actual pavlova.
Sounds like a mealroom for the preppie bro's at an exclusive English school.
Im not the biggest dinner person. I usually don't eat lunch till around 3pm so Im not really that hungry come 6 or 7pm. I always eat a huge breakfast though.
New Years Eve I had marinated baby back pork ribs from a steakhouse near my house which were pretty good with a few beers.

Sounded like a treat Mickey.
Tonight I helped some German backpackers restart their camper van at the beach this evening, so they invited me for dinner and cooked up a German meat thingy (I am not good with remembering the names of German dishes) with onions and capsicums tomatos and mushroom wrapped in a crepe like pancake. Gotta admit it tasted great and washed it down with a couple of beers they got from Aldi which weren't too bad either. We sat down to eat overlooking the beach playing the guitar singing some tunes too so it was a very pleasent evening. Thanks Bro's and Sis' for a top evening..

Had a delicious one from a restaurant called Graze in Pyrmont a few years ago, it had fresh fig in it, just so yummy. The other times I have seen them on the menu at other places they seem so ho hum.
The Nambucca river oysters are going down a treat at the moment going to a Greek restaurant in Scotts Head tonight, it is supposed to be a hidden gem in the sleepy little beach side town.
