Side note we hit up Maccas after my son's basketball today and the bill for 3 muffins and drinks came to roughly $40. Not crying poor but it was pretty lame IMO (particularly when they had an ad for '$5' muffin and drink deals stuck to their drive through - with the 95c after the $5 barely visible. It also had a footnote then alluding to this only being for purchases made via their app).

Shrinkflation was pretty hectic (these muffins were microscopic) and I left feeling unsatisfied. Sigh. Guess there's a reason why I haven't visited Maccas for a while. Though it's iconic, it now appears to be just a front for Uber Eats deliveries and suckers who don't read the fine print in relation to their meal deals. Lame... next time I'm going somewhere better.

I feel your pain ism . I've been getting the grand big Mac (occasionally)which is the size of the original but dearer . Shrinkflation sux the big one !

Been running around all day so tonight its just left overs of lamb meatballs with risoni, tuna cannelloni and pizza.

Marinated lamb chops with beef sausages won by my son in a pub meat raffle, steamed broccolini, chat potatoes, pumpkin, carrots ,beans,cheese sauce and the piece De resistance ... chokoes :-)

After spending a couple of hours at POW hospital then a trip to Bondi Junction to purchase a new lap top, just got in so going to head to the Erko bowlo for a beer and the meat raffles and will probably stay and have No Names combo for dinner.

Just made a lovely bruschetta with roasted tomatoes on sourdough and then going to have pasta with the leftover puttanesca sauce from the other nights dinner, nice and simple tonight.

Love goat meat. Want to bake a leg of goat one day, Coles at Maroubra Jct used to have leg of goat for sale but i think they worked out there was no market there for them, they haven't had them for a long while but i often see the leg of goat at the Dulwich Hill butcher.
