Cooking a smoked salmon Pappardelle tonight with garlic, lemon zest and juice, jalapeno , dill, capers and Ricotta sauce . Sprinkled parmesan and parsley over the top My young bloke loves it !

Not set in stone but more often than not Monday night is usually spag bol night in our house.

Sundays roast pork and veg reheated here . Gourmet granny's gravy , broccoli, carrot , pumpkin, roast potatoes with white bread and butter with Beerenberg apple sauce. As good as it gets especially the crackling

Its one of those almost retro 70 s dinner party dish but it just tastes so good.

Stir Fry tonight using the left over veges at home, putting in carrot, red capsicum , broccoli stem,tomato onion and might chuck in some peas, have a tin of water chestnut which i will chuck in, going to try it with lamb mince tonight, thought about going out for dinner tonight seeing i have tomorrow off but after work today just don't feel like it now, just started bucketing down also so better to stay in.

It sounds like my sort of dish. I love retro. We’re expecting a heap of rain tomorrow and Saturday so I think I’ll be making my chunky beef pie on Saturday.
