Whats on the menu for dinner these days??

Last night I made chicken and prawn fettuccini with spinach. I mixed some sambal into the sauce for a bit of heat. Lovely!

Spag Bol Monday night here . With garlic bread and parmesan cheese on top .

Do you ever eat crab?

Now I’m craving roast lamb and vegies!

The hardest decision was whether to do the lamb with lemon, oregano and garlic or just rosemary and garlic, decided on the rosemary option and made a lovely rosemary and red wine gravy with it.
Had roast potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrot and parsnip, also cooked some eschalots under the lamb which were delicious and also the flavour from them in the gravy was yumm. Also had peas with it.

Devilled chops, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies tonight. It’s a pity the chops cost a fortune these days.

Leatherjackets, pomme noisettes and peas. Was going to have Clems fried chicken which i was going to get on the way home after the Shute shield match between Sydney Uni vs Easts but weather was far to wild to even head out of the house today so making best of what i have at home in the freezer.

Sounds delicious Horrie I need to dust off the fishing rod soon . I'd love a good feed of calamari !! Watched the movie Priscilla on Stan and now some old Elvis songs on YouTube . The 60s were insanely good from what little I remember as a kid. Carn the chooks Sunday !!

Slow cooker chicken curry. The idea was to have it cooking away while I enjoyed a great Roosters victory and time it to be ready after the game. Well at least it tasted good. As for the rest….

Oh no, it’s all my fault. Slow cooked chook was not the best choice in hindsight. Better not tell Les though as he can’t wait to blame Robbo after every loss.
