      Living the dreeeeeeam!!!

that cake goes in and out of their freezer multiple times, none of their cakes are fresh, for the prices they charge, they should be.

best thing they do there is the scrambled eggs, good serve, and a nice pattern when served. We just refurbished their kitchen, so at least the appliances are new and clean(sort of) for now.

Thanks for the heads up - it was still solid but I agree that it shouldn't go in and out of the freezer multiple times.

Will grab the scrambled eggs next time I'm back there. Never tried 'em

Was probably like me when i said roast chook and all the veges, i didn't list them that time although i did have roast potato , sweet potato, carrot, parsnip and garlic and also peas.
Not so much with roast/baked dinners but i do get sick of saying, steamed broccoli, carrots and zucchini with most meals as it seems to be the usual steamed veges i have ( and i love them )

Exactly Horrie. Sometimes I’m in a rush and couldn’t be bothered listing all the veggies and just say a blanket veggies to cover them all.

                      • Tonight slow cooked Pork ribs again in a habenero, honey rub with a mixed bbq sauce marinade . Home made coleslaw , potato salad with buttered seasoned corn on the cob. Next level goodness. I'm thinking of bottling the juz and patenting it . Magnificence! What's cooking at all the chookpen homes tonight ?

                          The ribs sound awesome mate!

I haven’t had mussels since in Coogee couple months ago, so made them tonight, did my usual sauce, but added basil like at barzura, very tasty, I think I’ll try the sweet Thai basil next time.
