Not far from NSW now. You can get decent Barra on the Gold Coast.

Thanks Jack. I used to love baking cakes for my kid’s birthdays when they were younger. Now, it’s usually a sticky date pudding or trifle or pavlova for Christmas. Or all three if I’m in charge of the extended family get together!

If a dessert or cake has cream, I'm sold. Not a great scene to keeping the fighting weight though, esp for an old bugger.

Either a good carrot cake, zucchini cake or pineapple cake i'm sold. Also a good proper Italian cannoli or a brandy snap full of cream

Oh and i forgot to mention the vanilla slice from Alchemy restaurant in Surry Hills. Yummmmmm.
