My mother had me when in her 40's.

Funny thing was the second youngest brother was asked at school to write a letter to a relative not living with him at home - he wrote the the letter to the oldest brother thinking he was a relative and not a sibling.

Who has it explained to them who these other people are that live with them at an age that they would understand this - i,e these are your Parents and other siblings.

The oldest brother was in Vietnam and then PNG when they were going for independence when in the Australian Army.

He wrote letters when in PNG at that time for any jersey's/ shorts/socks /football boots/footballs etc they could send to PNG as a donation.

The only club that replied was the Roosters who supplied a couple of containers of these Items.
My Mum was similar. Youngest of 9. She first became an aunt when she was 2 years old and there were plenty more to come before she became an adult. Most of my cousins on mum’s side are way older than me, with many either older than or pushing 70.

                          • I made the Batesy recipe chilli tuna, cheese and mayo tortillas for lunch today . Left them in the frying pan a bit too long and they blackened a bit ! General consensus was they were 'very good'.

                            • Leg of lamb, dutch potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn wrapped in foil and cooked under hot coals. I have an old beer keg that I've converted into a fire pit which works great. It was so good!

Nice one mate. We'll often make them on the boat with fresh fish fillets or lobster. I also love to have a platter of fresh sashimi to go with the hot tortillas. If you like sashimi, leave the skin on and hit the skin lightly with a blow torch. So good!
