Our mother would also cook up sausages and fish fingers for sandwiches as well on weekends - Sausages and fried onions with Tomato sauce and Fish Fingers with Tartar sauce - we used to have fresh bread home delivered 6 days a week and milk , cheese . flavoured milk and yoghurt as well
Condensed Milk Sandwiches as well - very rich and sugary but a nice treat after the above sandwiches.

One of my aunties used to make me and my sister condensed milk mixed with aktavite, when we were kids, think she put a little bit of hot water with it too, used to love it.
