I told the guys at work it's a 'show dish' when they wanted to know what I was going to bake for them.. Display purposes only...

That aside the risotto was delicious, the only highlight of the night.Last edited by horrie hastings; 07-29-2014, 10:54 PM.

Having that weird thing called Turducken tonight for dinner, just the spelling gets me
Woolworths had them on special, I am a bit apprehensive about eating it but if the juices that came out of it which I am using to make the gravy are anything to go by it will be delicious.Last edited by horrie hastings; 08-05-2014, 11:41 PM.

Went here before seeing Rock Of Ages in Vegas
http://bouchonbistro.com/lasvegas
Had oysters, a cheese plate and the yummiest pate I have ever eaten washed down with a lovely French
Sav Blanc. The oysters were 6 different ones from different regions and all tasted different but all very nice, it was such a lovely relaxed spot away from the madness of the strip that is Las Vegas

After a the 14 hour round trip visiting the Grand Canyon I just wanted to flake out but the friends I am staying with insisted we went out for dinner and so glad I did in the end

I know this is a chain but had the most amazing pasties and sides plus a really good beer and wine list, it had the feel of a little hole in the wall local restaurant/bar, so laid back and really good food, totally unexpected.
