        I make a bolognaise regularly, and first time last week I added chicken mince along with my usual pork/veal/beef.

        not sure if the chicken added anything different taste wise to be honest, but it made a bigger batch all up, so that was a bonus if nothing else.

            I have noticed it when driving past during the day, it used to be a sandwich shop and take away years ago from memory but it closed. always on the look out for good pizzas and that is handy to know .

                Yes a lovely Chinese couple ran the sandwich shop for years before it became a pizza shop It is around the corner from my old family home. When it opened up I was their best customer before I moved

                      I'm strictly a beef man when it comes to making bolognaise but i accidentally defrosted pork mince last time i was making it and it came up alright.. I do have a have a beef, pork combination mince in the freezer from Coles so will try that next time. I have been putting marsala into my sauce now which gives it a lovely sweet richness, other times i put in port or red wine but i'm liking the marsala now.

                        I used to drive past it or get the bus past it every day when i was working at Kensington,,that seems like a lime time ago now, would have loved to try a hamburger from there.

                          • Have prawns, pippies and mussels and going to either cook them in a white and garlic sauce or a tomato and garlic sauce as have fresh cherry tomatoes. Just going downstairs to get some fresh parsley .
