Whats on the menu for dinner these days??

Spicy chicken wings, Shanghai noodles, steamed chicken and mushrooms dumplings, steamed vegetarian dumplings and fried pork and Chinese cabbage dumplings. The place where i got the noodles and dumplings from had only one table dining in when i went and ordered at 6.10 pm, by the time i finished work and went and picked up the dumplings at 6.35 pm the place was full, no spare tables and a line of people ordering take away. I got the chicken wings from another shop which was bombing the stock out in the food court at about 3.30 pm before they closed, the wings are yummy, i just heat them up again in the oven when i get home.

Twister - that's what I meant when I said wrap lol! Fried chicken should have a nice crisp coating with tender meat, and like you say lots of actual meat. This batch we had, the coating was all soggy and oily (when I first opened it the box and paper bag it came in was covered in oil, the first sign I knew it was going to be bad) and not much meat. The drumsticks were tiny and the wings didn't even look like wings! The breast fillets just oily with soggy crumbs. It's making me ill just remembering it.

I forgot to mention MR the three piece feed i got from the Randwick store one was a whole breast piece a thigh and the other piece was a rib piece which had plenty of meat on it, not a wing or drumstick in sight which is unusual for a 3 piece pack.

I forgot to mention MR the three piece feed i got from the Randwick store one was a whole breast piece a thigh and the other piece was a rib piece which had plenty of meat on it, not a wing or drumstick in sight which is unusual for a 3 piece pack.

That was lucky. With a 3 piece feed you usually end up with at least one puny drumstick or a tiny wing.

I love a good pasta bake MR, better half here makes a mean pasta bake which has to be one of my favourite dishes.

Tonight having salmon done in a caper and white wine sauce with.roasted cherry tomatoes and steamed asparagus .

The lamb meat balls with risoni was yummy, i had seconds and still have enough to take to work for lunch tomorrow.

Going to throw a stir fry together with chicken thigh fillets, sugar snaps, mushrooms, broccoli , carrot and make a honey and lemon sauce. Going to have some soy chicken wings before it.
