That sounds great Horrie. I'm sure there are a few good Vietnamese places here, most probably in Civic, but the trick would be getting the other half to agree to it. I think Ive mentioned before that he's not very adventurous with food lol.

Yep for sure - we're family friends with the owner (Dan) and I attended his niece's wedding recently.

Unfortunately they're selling up at the moment in order to move into retirement. If anybody wants to run a Vietnamese restaurant in Belco, I can hook them up

Thanks for the tip Renty. We don’t go over that side of town very often. We did try Korean from a restaurant in Civic last year because my daughter wanted it for her birthday. The hubby was not too keen but stuck to the fried chicken - the not spicy version.

It’s a real shame Michael never got into the family business or wanted to take it on. A real hard worker and one of the nicest guys I know.

It’s a great little place. Usually packed tho.

I often get a mix of flavoured boneless pieces. I love the sweet and spicy as well.

Sadly it wasn’t open when I went home at Xmas. Had to settle for that dump AKIBA instead! lol Poor me.

Horrie have you been to the Watershed restaurant under the Iron Cove bridge?

Hi Mickie, went to Watershed today, very nice, had the salt and pepper calamari and then the beef cheeks, it was very enjoyable, nice out look but got a bit noisy with a swimming carnival on at the pool. Will definitely go back again.
