Done! With a running commentary of funny comments from Insta...our players living renty free in Cody's head..

I've sent Horrie a photo of the cakes so maybe he can share on my behalf from his 'much smarter phone'...

Also, how do you post photos on here again? I don't seem to have the right permissions but I wanted to show a photo of yesterday's baking. I'm taking them into the office so just booked a car as there is no way I can manage walking up the hill in the rain with the laptop etc..plus my precious Roosters picnic bag..
Good question. The method I've found that works (using my mobile phone) is to upload the image to imgur, view it in your web browser and then do a copy/paste of it into the text box when making a post. Dunno why it works but the image itself will appear and you can go from there.

As an example, I almost ate these last night...

Oh what the heck, here's a shot of the wedding ceremony...

Don't usually comment that much but I thought they reached the perfect balance between modesty and luxury. Dunno how well people can see but the bride's dress (made in Vietnam with some local styling) was super impressive. It was modest but they had the whole anime-style princess thing going on with the front 'collar' (whatever that's called) then there was a subtle Vietnamese pattern beneath the white.

The people were lovely and you can never have too many craft beers. I pulled out some Italian skills while talking to the Columbians running the bars/hospitality hooked me up big time (I shamelessly left with my suit pockets all filled with craft beer cans).

Thanks to the bride and groom for inviting us. It was frigging awesome...

Thanks so much but Imgur isn't available in Australia (I know you are travelling so perhaps that's why its working for you). I have Apple Photos and I used to have Photobucket where I stored all my Roosters photos and precious ones like me with Freddy, SKD etc..

Oh your image just appeared...they are so gorgeous..I can eat macaroons as most of them are made with almond meal or paste and not wheat..

            • I posted this article the other day and further down there is a picture of the chocolate version. Mine are the same but I've used chocolate frosting.

Note, I do not read No Idea magazine.. this just came up when I was looking for the photos...

Oh really? (https://imgur.io). As you say, there's lots of other services that do the same thing. This is just the one I've been using.

Do you still have the photobucket with those special photos up and running?

Photobucket started charging a bucket..LOL..so I moved everything into Apple Photos beforehand so my precious Roosters photos are safe. My manager messaged me earlier saying "Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow"...I'm pretty sure he was talking to the cakes and not me...

Oh cool, they look awesome (and sound simple too!) I didn't quite get why a pie maker was being used but it all makes sense now.

Yes it makes the little cakes to then sandwich together very easily and the pie maker is very easy to clean...not like an oven..

                          • I ended up bringing home the rest of my lunch from Barangaroo as the serving was so big. Malaysian rice noodles with some green veges and tofu.

                            • Been house sitting for friends who are overseas and they have a tomato patch that is growing wild, with the heat a lot of the tomatoes have fallen on the ground and split with the heat because they didn't harvest them before they left, despite this we are still getting plenty to bring home, made a yummy tomato , garlic, chilli and olive oil pasta a couple of nights, just had some on toast for lunch today but still so many so am semi drying a tray of them in the oven now. Will be more to harvest on the weekend too.

                              • I'm making a batch of pasta tonight for work lunches - the pasta is made from vegetables and I'm adding a cheese sauce, cauliflower rice, broccolini and zucchini.

Dinner will be gluten free fish cocktails, salad, peas and home made potato wedges - steamed not fried..
