Tonight the better half was hell bent on having a margarita and I wasn't going to disagree, a few places here in Narrabeen where you get one, we decided on a place called JB and Sons and would have been happy to dine there with the full American style menu but inside the music was to loud for the small dining space and outside where we sat although pleasant would have been to dark to eat the food, still it was pleasant to sit outside having the margaritas, we both had two, then ended up going to place closer to where we were staying called Joe's pizza, it was having a relaunch in a new venue and tonight was its re opening night so managed to secure a table there and shared two decent pizzas between us , it ended up being a very pleasant night.
Tomorrow is an open book but if the weather stay decent thinking about some sort of seafood and maybe some of the chicken sausages I saw in Mona Vale, if the weather is crap take away Chinese or Vietnamese just up the hill at Warriwood might fill the bill.

I love doing a simple barbie on the weekend because I can just chuck a heap of stuff on the cooker, pile all our condiments onto the table, smash a few beers, chat with my wife/son for hours (plus play games...etc) and enjoy life.
Tacos? Perfect plan! Doubt anybody's gonna be upset about beef tacos for dinner.

And yes tacos is one of our family favourites. Nice and easy. I guess boring is the wrong word. I should have meant simple and easy as everyone can add there own salads and veggies to them.Last edited by mightyrooster; 04-05-2023, 07:28 PM.

Always toss a splash of beer on the onions which gives me a good excuse to have a beer when BBQing
I generally do corn and broccolini as my BBQ veg. However, I mostly like BBQs for adding smoke/charred flavours to meats and cooking up the fat so that it gets a little crispy. Thus, my BBQs have a lot of sausages, wings and slow cooked meats (e.g. briskets / lamb). That or a few barramundi.
