It's very Sherlock Holmes/CSI but classier. I hold a cushion up to my face when he cuts the bodies open though..ugh..
Yes hopefully their will be another series, makes me want to go to Italy, one part of Europe I haven't been to before.
Also forgot to mention Winter, it is a great series so far.

There are so many Seinfeld guest stars in Melrose Place. No wonder they used to make fun of it. I'm only up to Season 2 and the girl Jerry was dating and took to see Schindler's List is in it now as a journalist. And Lloyd Braun is in it as a lawyer, a bad one at that!

Thanks for telling me as I'm enjoying those now too.

As for my Seinfeld star spotting in Melrose Place, in Season 3 we have Elaine's pretty boy boyfriend Tony (who told George Constanza to step off) playing the part of Jake the Handyman's brother. We also have Jerry's fastidious girlfriend Jenna (who put his toilet brush in the toilet) as the spoilt crazy nutter Brooke and The Maestro was also in it as a sleazy detective. I'm so glad I can keep this thread alive with my quality updates and contributions.

The first episode of Rockwiz salutes the decades was fantastic, they covered the 1950's, looking forward to the rest of the series especially the 60s, 70s and 80s.

I have Netflix and Stan. I am indulging my Julianna Margulies fixation with The Good Wife.

Just watched Blood + Thunder , the Sound of Alberts which was a two part doco on the ABC showcasing the rise of The Easy Beats, AC DC The Angels, Rose Tattoo, John Paul Young, Ted Mulry and many others, it was a great trip back down memory lane, it was sad, scary and funny at times, there was so much talent in Australian Music scene.

That was the best music special I had watched in ages. The Rockwiz 50's 60's 70's and 80's specials were good but like I said to you the other day, I found the 90's and 2000's unwatchable! Even my favourite Tim Freedman was a little off that night. Was also enjoying repeats of The Guardian (with Ben Buckler resident Simon Baker, welcome home ) and Party of Five, which I had never watched before, but true to form our good friends at Channel 9 decided to take them off again in favour of D grade afternoon movies.

Thanks for telling me about Wendy Whitely on Australian Story and the beautiful garden at Lavender Bay. I did live over that way many years ago for a short time and used to go to the church there but that was long before the garden. I'm looking forward to going over there one day.

You are welcome, I thought you would enjoy it, Wendy definitely lived a colourful life and it was so sad about her daughter Arkie, she was such a stunning woman, then garden is a beautiful reminder of her.
I enjoy visiting the garden, it is just so peaceful and a beautiful oasis and have often seen Wendy working there and she is often up for a chat.

It all made me cry. Some of those gardeners have been working there for 19 years so that says a lot about the person Wendy is. I'd be too intimidated to try and speak to her but I have so much admiration for her and what she has given back to the city of Sydney when she could have easily become a bitter person after everything she has lived through.

I'm rewatching Love My Way on DVD with Claudia Karvan, Asher Keddie and Brendan Cowell (ok he is a Sharkies fan but a very brilliant actor) A lot of it is filmed around Dover Heights, Bondi and Vaucluse and fun to spot all the local places. Shockingly heartbreaking though in some parts so I'll save those episodes for the weekend because of all the crying I'm sure will occur...
