So the Bold and Beautiful lovers can chat amongst themselves without getting into trouble for hijacking threads.

Feel free to chat about any show which takes your fancy. I'm currently watching season 2 of Time of Our Lives on the ABC. It's like The Secret Life of Us for grownups with the lovely Claudia Karvan. William McInnes and Shane Jacobsen of Kenny fame play brothers with Stephen Curry playing their best mate. Good quality Australian drama and as it's set in Melbourne, good to watch in winter time all rugged up in front of the telly.

    Hijack.

PS: I'm also watching it RWB. Not the worst show I've watched. Try Old School with Bryan Brown and Sam Neil, you can catch up on Iview if you like.

I did see that in the guide my friend. I'm currently relying on iview and tenplay to watch my shows like 90210, The Good Wife and Blue Bloods. This is painful for me to talk about, but my T-box crashed and I lost the grand final,WCC and Anzac Day matches including all the pre-match interviews and Ricky Martin! Not to mention my carefully compiled collection of Laverne and Shirley, 7th Heaven and 40 episodes of 30 Rock. Ah well first world problems. I'm waiting for Telstra to send me a new one..It happened last week when I came home from work sick of course..Life was really simple for me as a child. I grew up in a country town and I had 2 channels and was perfectly happy and satisfied. Now the world ends when our technology crashes...

Just watched House Husbands and the A Place To Call Home.
Never get sick of watching the repeats of Spicks and Specks, the new series crashed and burned and has been axed as it deserved to be, it was terrible, it was one show that they should have left retired, you just could not replace Adam, Alan and Myf.
And thankyou redwhiteblue for letting me know that the 2nd series of Wonderland is starting soon.

Time of our Lives is a great show isn't it. Always enjoy it each week. I tend to IQ it as I've usually got something to do 8.30 pm of a Thurs and then watch it on the weekend.

I don't watch much on the ABC nowdays but they do have some great dramas, both from here and overseas. A friend of mine put me on to Call the Midwife, which is an English drama set in the poorer end of London in the 50s/60s, just after it started and I've enoyed it so much I've bought the books and have the first two series on DVD.

It's sad that A Place to Call Home has been axed - it's always been a nice way to end the weekend, taking a little step back in time for an hour or so. The acting, scenery and photography in the series has always been top notch.

The Real Housewives of OC, The Real Housewives of New York City & The Real House wives of London are pretty good shows.

I watched skippy the other night at about 2 in the morning. I used to love that show when I was a kid, I wanted to be Sonny Hammond & have a Kangaroo as a pet & be able to whistle with a gum leaf.

I wish I'd seen the London housewives as it's one of my favourite cities. I saw some eps of one of the California housewives, ironically when I was in London, and there was one woman who had an amazing kitchen with a Rooster motif everywhere. She got into an argument and all I could think of was how I hoped the porcelain rooster on the counter wouldn't get smashed...

stsae, I'm going to test your Bryan Brown memories now. Do you remember Twisted Tales? Bryan created this series which was shown late at night on Channel 9 around 10-15 years ago. It had an amazing guest cast of many famous Australians and each short story had a twist at the end. It was all filmed around suburban Sydney and there was a second series called Two Twisted. Puts all of today's rubbish to shame.

I record it through my T-box NC and I watched it last night. I don't watch anything live anymore as I record everything on the drive and fast forward the ads. I'm sorry A Place to Call Home is cancelled too. I tried very hard to get into it but failed but I do appreciate the costumes and scenery. It's a sad reflection when quality shows get cancelled in favour of the singing/renovating/cooking dysfunctional cat fight shows..

Just started watching Old School, love some of the scenes filmed around Newtown, especially the Newtown Hotel.

That does sound like something I would like then. Telstra rang me yesterday and offered me a bigpond movie voucher to make up for my demented T-box breaking down so I can watch some movies during my holiday.

I recall the name of the show RWB but can't say I've ever watched.

I will google it and see if I can download the episodes.

Time of our lives I actually enjoy, I don't usually go in for those sort of shows. Even got the missus onto it.

Funny to see how Luces daughter has grown up heaps in the second series, which was supposed to be about 6 weeks after the end of the first, they've so far tried to hide it by showing her sitting in all the scenes. A few have put on a few Kgs also. I guess those things are inevitable over a couple of years.

I'm waiting for Rake to return. Just about the funniest show I have ever seen. Cleaver Green you wouldn't trust him near your wife or daughter but if you were in strife with the courts he'd be the man you want in your corner every time.

Boardwalk Empire is another I'm eagerly waiting for the next series.
