My barbers recently closed down (Patricks in Bondi Junction) and I'm looking for somewhere new to get my flowing locks trimmed.

A funky style men's barber would be just the job, preferably in the InnerWest/City/Eastern Suburbs. Any suggestions?

If I can find out where Clinton Gutherson goes, or that twat who's started doing the interviews for Roosters TV, I can put a line through them straight away......

I go to Nicholas Dunn @ 296 Bronte Road Waverley. He does both men's and ladies hair and is a big Easts fan. I got a fancy blowdry there for the WCC and all the grand finals. I will be there tomorrow at 8am sharp as I am very loyal to him and bypass the million Rose Bay hairdressers near my place to go and talk footy with him. That's very important to a girl like me. My doctor, dentist and hairdresser are all Easts fans otherwise the relationship just doesn't work!

Fair point RWB. There's a barber just up the road from me (Marrickville) but he's got all Manly posters in the window. Puts me off going in.....

He He, then don't go to Nicks at Surry Hills next door to the old Bentley Bar, he has South Sydney posters all over the windows. To be fair to him , he loves his football and always chatted to me about the Roosters when I used to get my hair done there when I lived in Darlinghurst many years ago.

Buy some clippers maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate and just cut the farker yourself or get the missus to have a lash.

Haven't paid for a snip since I was a kid. In fact the olds paid then.

                Hair is so overrated.

I know easy to say when it's all in the drain after a shower.

I asked Nick about that particular cut as I don't watch Souths games and he said in hairdressing circles that style is known as "Footballers with too much time and money on their hands"...

                      I'm with Backwards on this.
                      Get your own clippers.

I'm hoping mine all falls out so I don't have to bother.
How we change. In the 70's it was half way down my back….now it's just a nuisance.

I have the clippers at home but still go to the barber to get my hair done, I get a double zero on my scalp and a half through my beard and mo, just cant be bothered doing it myself, I do use the clippers to trim my beard and mo between the hair cuts though.

I would just love to meet a barber that understands what a Number 1 is and if I ask for one,not give me a cynical reply of "How about a number 2!".Hey dickhead, you do think I enjoy having an 80s Huey Lewis style of hair?

I cut my own hair these days with clippers. I have ****ed it up a few times but it is easy than letting the local Chinamen make me look like a 20 year-old homosexual pop star.

I haven't cut mine for 18 months now mate. It's the worlds biggest combover.

I've never been able to look like a 20 year old homosexual pop star, even when I was 20, sadly.
