They seem to exist - kind of: http://www.fritolay.com/our-snacks/f...orn-chips.html

I have emailed the Byron Bay Chilli Company asking them to make them. This quest is far to big to take on your own....

And the reply from the email I sent:

"Thanks for the email. We used to make a sour cream and chilli chip, but
stopped some years ago... Arguably the best chip on the market at the time,
and the forerunner of many, many sour cream and chilli things such as
              crackers, etc.

The problem we had with them was that the sour cream part of the flavouring
had the potential of containing GM soybeans, and we had to give it away.

Also, found that flavoured chips were not our best seller, so we gave in to
the KISS principle and deleted our cheese and sour cream/chilli chips.

Now, I just put some chilli sauce on my chips.

Not sure if anyone is doing them at the moment, though I have seen them in
the past. Probably a specialty item only in Australia.

Happy New Year, and thanks for writing....

              John Boland"

              The quest continues......

Red Rock Deli chilli chips are very nice...

Corn chips with Nacho ingredients all over them are the only way I like corn chips...

I think there's probably a reason you haven't seen them together., I don't think they'd go. The chilli would kill the subtlety of the corn, though it might not,

judging by the Mexican I've eaten I'd say it goes together in actual food but I'm not sure about a chip.

If Smith's have another name a chip conterst you should submit it.
