It is an Italian district with awesome restaurants, cafes and one of the best bookstores in the world, City Lights. Last time I was there I actually met Lawrence Ferlinghetti, the owner and one of the last surviving Beat writers. Be sure to have a drink in Vesuvio's next door.

Caught some nice 1-2kg yellow belly last night after a pig hunt[great eating], A bit of dirt bike riding this morn followed by an afternoon of out more doors enjoying camp oven cooked Fish with garlic lemongrass and papricka, lemon, salt, whilst listening to a few tunes, downing a few Ales and watching the sun go down.

I also have The Lonely Planet for Seattle but I'll read that next week. I'm really interested in the music tours both cities hold as well, as there were many artists to come out of both cities. The grunge movement of course too, Amazon as I love internet shopping and of course, Frasier Crane..I'm listening.."Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli

I'm a bit of a female George Costanza so am really interested in the Victorian houses, which we toured last time, including the house used in Mrs Doubtfire RIP Robin Williams . We are going back to do the same walking tour again but the new places I want to see this time around so far are the Palace of Fine Arts & and Haas-Lilienthal House. I'm only on the first chapter..
