You don’t just learn who you’re friends are during tough times, you learn a lot about yourself and it sounds like you’re a fighter and very resilient. After the death of my parents, this past year has been hell and back for me, like so many others around the world, yourself included MR. Job hunting is never easy for anyone at any age, particularly during one of the worst times in our generation's history.

You can see it now with this worldwide pandemic where some people don't even consider how their selfish behaviour can impact others. And yeah, I can relate very much with your comments about losing parents. I can't believe it's almost one year since my Dad passed and our family is now going through the whole thing again as Mum is slowly slipping away from us. Then there's this small thing called a pandemic. Crazy, crazy times and I agree I've never known anything like this in our generation's history. You've done well to find a job. My daughter started looking for her first casual job in February and then you know what hit. I can't see her finding anything anytime soon now. I do hope your job works out well for you.
I hope your Mum has a comfortable and restful week MR and take good care of yourself too."Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli

A lot of businesses have a clearer idea now where their needs are in this new financial year and there are lot more options opening up in all cities. Looking for a job is a job in itself and decent people like you daughter who take job hunting seriously and do this with dignity, positivity and professionalism will always get rewarded. Businesses will always look for positive happy people to enhance their workplaces.

Just to give her some skills and confidence and something to add to her resume. She would also love to earn some money too so she can buy things for herself that her parents can't afford - teenage girls and all lol! It will give her a great standing going into the future also as you said, something for her resume. I have very strong instincts and I know you'll be back soon to tell me the good news. I hope you are having a good week too and taking some time for yourself too.

I think this a very good and worthwhile thread.
There is one on another forum I am involved with. Despite our differences on there as members, it unites us as caring, decent human beings.
It is very important to be kind to and considerate of each other, particularly during these particularly challenging times of COVID-19.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

I'm ok, just find it hard to post these days.I am trying to sell my house as it's too much property to look after now, and maybe a sea-change will help with the depression.
I still watch every Roosters game.
Thanks again.
