Goodbye Arthur my old friend

He was a spider living in the right side mirror of my car and every day he felt the need to put a cobweb over it.

I named him Arthur.

He'd been with me for over a year but he just became too much of a nuisance.

I had to spray him today. Sorry mate but I did tell you to stop many, many times but you just wouldn't listen.

Boy we had some good times though didn't we? Remember that fly you ate last March?

When I worked for Telecom I had a spider in my van between the dash and the window. I would catch spiders out of the manholes and put them in the web. Salem would always win as he would never get caught in the web. Great days. Thanks Arthur for bringing back some great memories....

The only reason he is still enjoying my hospitality is my laziness.

Have one living in the passenger side mirror,i brush the web off every morning but he spins again over night,i call him Snyder,he went for a drive to Newcastle a couple of weeks ago.

In my old Laser there used to be a nest of huntsman spiders living in the grill,probably why the car broke down so often.
