I know this is a really weird place to ask but i'm a qualified teacher struggling to find work and would appreciate any help I can get - particularly from my fellow Roosters

My missus is about to graduate, but theoretically, she can start work as a casual now.
She took a religious subject in uni which allows her to work at catholic schools, then she basically went around all the schools, handing out her CV. She has had some bites and it has only been a week.
Are you primary or 6-12 ?

Hey thanks for the replies guys - yea i'm a secondary teacher (7 - 12) - I teach history and drama (which is a pretty weird mix and has made it hard for me)
But I was thinking of that religion certificate - I'm Christian but apparently you have to be Catholic for it to make you qualified to teach religion in the Catholic system - i'll have to do some more looking into it to see if that's the case.
But yea i'm up for casual work (or more) anywhere in any system

Yea its just a bit discouraging because I haven't got many casual days this term - oh well hopefully it picks up next term when winter hits - any suggestions for schools that might be after casual teachers?
And Mike thats sounds like a good idea - hope thats enough proof for them and they don't want a certificate from my baptism or anything - I'll give them a call because I don't wanna go through the course for nothing
