Ever since yesterday lunchtime everytime I go to the Sydney Roosters website and try and get onto the Wall, it tells me that it is under maintenance and they will be back shortly.

Does this mean it'll be down for two weeks??

Mate, if The Wall welcome page is any indication, they are a joke.
Despite Freddy no longer at the club in any official capacity, he still features with Pearce, Anasta & Mini. How unprofessional. The "Locker Room" hasn't featured any additional articles for members as promised.

Wests Tigers & Parra supporters sites are kept up-to-date on a daily basis.

I saw the message about maintenance but never saw anything about 2 weeks,maybe they had changed it before or after i looked.

Like any I.T that eventually is outsourced to India, it gets ****ed up. Eventually it wont even work. But I can guarantee there will be some India blaming everyone but himself.

What happened is this.
They recieved a grant form the Federal Govt, through the stimulus package, and had insulation installed to keep the heat out (Chook penners) further they decided to have a COLA put in, that is an Canteen and Outdoor Liesure Area for the uninitiated.
The main contractor failed to inform the su-contractor that some non Wall people are entering the site and subsequently closed it down. We are now awaiting a settlement of that demarcation dispute. The CMFEU will keep the site closed for a further two weeks, and the Federal Government has promised to do absolutely nothing until the mining companies come to the party, and stop digging holes in our backyard.

On the 7.30 Report, Elmer Fudd promised to set up a gov't scheme, called WALLwatch. He has promised that it will watch the wall for all working Australian Families, however, in reality, WALLwatch will be blocked by the Conroy web filter, and as such will be a complete waste of time and taxpayers money.
